In her role, Majken provides direction and support in the area of sustainability for the business across Europe, the Middle East,Africa and India. She plays an active role in InterfaceFLOR’s ‘Let’s be clear’ campaign, an anti-green wash drive calling for full transparency in howcompanies declare the environmental impact of their products. This includes developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for all of InterfaceFLOR’s products, which the company has committed to do globally by 2012. An EPD is a standardised, third-party validated tool that provides highly detailed lifecycle analysis information.
