Born in 1965 in Poynton, UK, Dr. Harrison graduated with a B.Sc. in Polymer Science and Technology from Loughborough University, UK in 1987 and a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Durham, UK in 1990. Following a post-doctoral year at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany he joined the Bayer Group in 1991.

David Harrissn

Following 5 years in the Bayer AG Corporate Center department for Governmental and Product Affairs integrating sustainable development principles into chemicals and product policy, Dr. Harrison moved to his current position at the Bayer Material Science AG working on Product Stewardship. He also actively represents Bayer in many German, European and international chemical and industry associations.
